ONE DAY EXCURSION TO KANDY

Pickup from Colombo Hotel and proceed to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which is a home to over 70 Elephants ranging from little babies to adult are cared for. Thereafter proceed to Kandy. En-route visit a spice garden in Kadugannawa. After Lunch visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and commence a city tour of Kandy, including Upper Lake Drive & Market Square.

Return back to Colombo in the evening.

DAY 01
Pickup form Colombo Hotel and proceed to Anuradhapura. and commence sightseeing.
En route visit Pinnawala Pinnawala Elephant Opharnage.
Thereafter return to Anuradhapura.
Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

DAY 02

After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya and climb the Sigirya Rock Fortress.

In the afternoon excursion to Polonnaruwa.

Overnight stay in Polonnaruwa. DAY 03

After breakfast proceed to Kandy. En route visit the Dambulla cave temple, a spice garden and a batik factory in Matale.

Afternoon commence city tour of Kandy, including Upper Lake Drive, Market Square and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

In the evening watch a cultural show featuring the exotic traditional dances of Sri Lanka.

Overnight stay in Kandy.

DAY 04

After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya.

Thereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya, visiting a tea estate and factory en route.

Overnight stay at in Nuwara Eliya DAY 05 After breakfast proceed to Yala.

4X4 Jeep safari at Yala National Park.

Overnight stay at in Yala National Park.

DAY 06

After breakfast transfer up to the beach or to the airport. En route visit the Dutch Fort in Galle, stilt fishermen in Weligama and turtle hatchery in Kosgoda.
